plotësoj
Waking up from a Sunday noon nap, I realize these things:
my room temperature changes from cool to mega-hot while I am asleep; my heart is a castle and I have hired soldiers to guard it. I will will not change this. But a nice and trustworthy, young fellow cracked the door into the castle and laid down a doormat, embellished with his name, inside of the front hallway. I stand unmoved, but I realize that feelings grow alone and I have not the power to change them. Wine is not all what's it's cut out to be. I have learned how to play the basics of more instruments than I ever knew I could, but there are so many more I've yet to master. I am awkward and growing to become like my father.
My young limbs are growing up and mind is gaining wisdom, but my heart will always be a little girl in dress-up shoes a size too big, so the most important of these that I realize is
the days are growing longer and my worries are growing shorter; so more playtime for me and my pals.
